Roger Federer hopes to be as strong as his children
Federer enjoys spending time with his children going on hikes in Switzerland. However, there was one time, he regretted doing it. On the other hand, his kids were quite zealous to come on a trek with their father.
In a short snippet of the documentary film, ‘Ride of a Lifetime’, Roger Federer was detailing one such hike in a candid conversation with Trevor Noah. Wishing for stamina like his kids, he stated, “I hope I can do it as well as my children.” Like every family, they also have a tradition and theirs is quite “monstrous.”
He said, “I’ve taken them on some ‘monster hikes’ we call them in the family.” A resilient Federer is associated with sending lightning bolts of shots across the court. However, the hike was not how he envisioned it to be.

Federer reminisced, “I remember, when I came down, my knees were shaking because I was actually rehabbing back in ’16 and ’17 and was not ready for such a huge hike. I underestimated the hike.”
Though his kids enjoyed the hike, it became quite too much for them too. Federer said, “As I was coming down, we were all like, ‘Oh my God! This was too far.”
