“My Lifestyle is Not Fully Sustainable”: Rafael Nadal Aims to Promote Use of Electric Vehicle

The champion from Spanish, Rafael Nadal, is presently recovering from his left foot injury, and recently, Rafael Nadal was seen promoting the use of electric vehicles of Kia motors.

Since 2006, Rafael Nadal has become the face of Kia motors as a global brand ambassador. Nadal and Kia have partnered together to promote Kia’s brand to a global audience through this ambassadorship; Kia Motors is also one of the foremost sponsors of the Australian Open.

Rafael Nadal supports the use of electric vehicles

The global ambassador of Kia Motors, Rafael Nadal attended a mega-event for the automobile company in Manacor, Spain. With the launch of the new EV6 crossover, the Spaniard promoted the utilization of electric vehicles. Nadal also expressed his support for the new EV6 electric embodies.

The Spaniard said, “My job naturally requires a lot of travel, and my lifestyle is not fully sustainable. But I’m determined to make the necessary changes where I can, starting with my personal use of the EV6 crossover in Mallorca and beyond.”

Furthermore, Nadal added, “I feel lucky to have the support of Kia and the new EV6 that will help drive my commitment. I would like to encourage others to join me in driving these kind of vehicles wherever possible.”

The former World N0. 1 has been in association with Kia Motors since 2006 when they made Nadal their global ambassador. Subsequently, Nadal and Kia have worked closely to strengthen the brand value of  Kia worldwide.

For the last 20 years, Kia Motors has been providing a strong platform for the Australian Open. Both Kia and the Australian Open have functioned efficiently, working towards the growth of tennis in Australia. And since 2002, Kia has also played a key role in assisting several players at the Australian Open.

The Australian Open 2022 is scheduled to commence from 17th January to 30th January 2022. With Rafael Nadal announcing some optimistic news on his injury, fans are anticipating Nadal to play at the Australian Open 2022.
