Nick Kyrgios takes a sarcastic jibe at his record
Recently, Nick Kyrgios was involved in an interview with Piers Morgan where he talked about various subjects – from his tennis career to his involvement in other sports. During that interview, an unwanted record came to light about him. Kyrgios has received almost $575,000 in fines, which is the most a player has received in tennis history.

When asked if he was proud of that record, Kyrgios said, “It goes to charity so on the flip side I could be the most generous ATP player ever. Sometimes when I watch my highlights back and I realized look I probably shouldn’t have done that look there’s some regret in some of my actions.”

Further, he went on to add, “Obviously like I’m not going to sit here and say no that was always warranted no sometimes I do cross the line but competitors out there know that and I think if you look at other sports you know trash talking is normal.”

When Nick Kyrgios received a massive punishment
During the 2022 Wimbledon Championships, controversy erupted after Kyrgios was captured spitting toward a spectator. His actions came after his first-round victory there and became a talking point.

However, the Australian star claimed that the spectator was disrespectful towards him which led to such actions. Nonetheless, Kyrgios was fined $10,000 for his actions. The Australian star reached the final of the tournament before losing out to Novak Djokovic in the summit clash.
