At the same time, Ebden and Purcell caused a massive upset in the semi-final when they beat the no.2 seed, Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury. The final was entertaining, to say the least. However, the crowd was mostly in favor of Kyrgios and Kokkinakis, the double K’s, even though it was an all-Aussie final.
