He highlighted the flexibility in tennis careers, allowing athletes to choose their level of competition. While he admitted that if he had a choice, he might reconsider his options.
“At the moment I am dealing with some health issues so just trying to get back healthy I definitely don’t see myself going anywhere in the near future but you know I want to get back on the tour and have one to 2 more really really good years and I think that’s possible and then after if there is some more leagues you know that are offering some nice money then I’ll definitely look on extending my career but you know there is a lot of work in the tennis world that needs to be done,” said Nick, clearly denying the rumors of his comeback along with announcing the plans of having one or two more good seasons.

The Australian athlete who recently stunned fans with his entry as a commentator for the tennis channel, disclosed that he is still dealing with health concerns and will make a comeback only after fully recovering from it.
Along with being affirmative on his plans to be back on the courts, the tennis star also explained how he likes to stick to the present without making longer plans for the future.

Along with denying the authenticity of the rumors surrounding his retirement, Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios also revealed that he is not someone who likes setting plans for the future. In the same interview where he announced his plans to continue playing tennis, he said, “I’m a day by day guy. I just take every day and see how my body is feeling.” Kyrgios also mentioned that he wants to be able to run outside without pain and play with his kids when he has them. He added, “So yeah look plans can change.”
Kyrgios has been in the news recently after his recent gig as a commentator at the Tennis Channel. However, he has since squashed those rumors and is now totally focused on regaining his strength along with recovering from the health issues.

While the Aussie denied giving any specific details about the future, he did mention that he wants to be able to play tennis without pain and continue to be youthful. The comments, however, made it clear that the 28-year-old is clear on being back on the courts.
