Finally, some good news! Fans have been devastated after getting the news of Federer and Nadal sitting out of the US Open. However, they finally get to have a smile on their face as the entertainment king, Kyrgios, has confirmed that he would be playing the upcoming US Open and the Rod Laver Cup.
Earlier, Nick Kyrgios had announced a last-minute withdrawal from the Winston-Salem event due to knee pain. He was supposed to face Britain’s Andy Murray but pulled out at the last minute, which produced mixed feelings from the fans. It also raised doubts about whether he would be able to play at the US Open or not.

Nick Kyrgios will play in New York
Nick Kyrgios assured his fans that he would be playing the US open by sharing a post on Instagram.

I want you to know that I will see you at US Open & Laver Cup. I’ll do my best to put on a show and hopefully be able to make all of you happy. I’m at peace.”
