Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios is having a dream year. The 27-year-old recently made it to his first ever Grand Slam final. Coming into the Wimbledon Championships 2022, with a brilliant grass season, the Aussie looked in dominant form. He defeated Christian Garin in the quarterfinals to book his semifinal slot against Rafael Nadal. However, the Spaniard opted out of the match. Playing in his first Wimbledon final, the 27-year-old went down against the defending champion Novak Djokovic.

While enjoying his time off the court, the 27-year-old had a question-answer session for his fans on Instagram. Replying to a fan query, Kyrgios might just have dropped a big news.

Is Kyrgios planning for a baby?

Nick Kyrgios is in a relationship with a Sydney-based blogger and influencer Costeen Hatzi. The two have been dating for a long time and Hatzi also accompanies Kyrgios on tour. Recently, she was seen supporting her boyfriend at the Wimbledon Championships.

In the question-answer session, a fan wrote, “I love you. When are we having babies?”

Replying to the question, the 27-year-old posted a picture with his girlfriend and wrote“Next year.”

Nick Kyrgios pulls out of Atlanta singles

After a wonderful grass season, the Aussie was gearing up for the last Grand Slam of the year. He had plans to play in the ATP 250 hard court event in Atlanta. However, the 27-year-old later pulled out of the event, citing a left knee problem.

“I’ve won this tournament once and I’m playing probably some of the best tennis of my career. All I wanted to do was come out here and give you guys a show, but I’m unable to give my best performance today,” he said.

Further, Kyrgios confirmed he will continue to play in the doubles leg. “I’m just extremely sorry, but I’m going to keep my hopes up and may be able to continue doubles with Thanasi (Kokkinakis) this week,” he added.

Notably, the 27-year-old paired with fellow Australian player Kokkinakis to lift the Australian Open men’s doubles earlier this year. Currently, they have made it to the quarterfinals in Atlanta.
