However, the match had an embarrassing moment he will definitely never want to see. The Australian was sweating heavily on the court and his hair dye began melting off his face. Many fans on social media are posting about this as the match continued to engage a lot of tennis fans.

Nick Kyrgios and Daniil Medvedev had a dramatic encounter in Australia

A Nick Kyrgios match without drama is not a Nick Kyrgios match at all. The same thing happened in today’s match as well when the Australian had an argument with the chair umpire. First, it was about using foul language for a member of a crowd.

Later, he got another code violation for when he was receiving a serve. The chair umpire gave Nick a violation for delaying the server. As Daniil was ready to serve, Nick went to his towel, and that prompted the chair umpire to make that call. Nick argued about it with the chair umpire, with zero effect.

The match finally ended in the 4th set, and Medvedev won the match by 7-6, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. The Russian looked the clear favorite before going into the match, but Nick had the ability to cause an upset. But in the end, the Russian managed to go past the Australian in 4 tight sets. Now, Medvedev looks the clear favorite to win the whole tournament.
