Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios has had a pretty good 2022 season so far. Recently, he reached the Wimbledon final, which was his first ever Grand Slam final. Apart from entertaining fans on the court, he also entertains off the court, particularly through social media.

Earlier, he had a funny interaction with Novak Djokovic on social media, which became a huge talking point at the Wimbledon final. Recently, he had a question-and-answer session on social media, where he talked about the most talented player on the tour apart from him.

Nick Kyrgios picks the most talented player on the ATP tour
Earlier, during a Q & A session on Instagram, a fan asked Kyrgios, “Who is the most talented player on the tour without being you?” In reply to that question, Kyrgios posted a picture of him and Jack Sock and tagged the American player in that Instagram story.

Notably, Kyrgios and Sock played some doubles together, particularly during the Laver Cup over the years. Safe to say, they always brought extra energy along with pure entertainment during their matches.

Meanwhile, Sock’s career didn’t quite flourish despite possessing an immense amount of talent. During his junior days, he won the US Open boy’s singles titles in 2010. Many thought he would become the next big thing in American tennis. In terms of his singles career, his Grand Slam record has not been very good.

However, he achieved some great things in both doubles and mixed doubles. He won his first Grand Slam title in the mixed doubles in the 2011 US Open. Then, he went on to win the Wimbledon doubles title in 2014 and in 2018. In 2018, he won the US Open doubles title as well. His biggest singles win came at the Paris Masters when he won the title in 2017. In terms of rankings, he achieved no.8 in the singles in 2018 and in doubles, his highest career ranking in no.2.

Kyrgios receives will card at the Cincinnati Open
Kyrgios is currently playing at the Atlanta Open, where, incidentally, Jack Sock is also playing. Unfortunately, Kyrgios already pulled out of the singles competition due to an issue with his knee. However, he is continuing in the doubles event with fellow countryman, Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Earlier, he won his quarter-final match and could face Jack Sock in the doubles semi-finals. Meanwhile, in preparation for the US Open, Kyrgios will play the Cincinnati Open, as he received a wild card in that tournament.
