“I said it jokingly, and he responded in kind. We exchanged a few words, and after Wimbledon, he reached out. I’d love to get him involved in my stuff, but I also respect that these guys have a lot going on in their lives. If they speak to me or send me a message, that’s a bonus so I do love his music, I’m just going to say that,” Kyrgios revealed. This unexpected turn in the Kyrgios-Drake story seems to have marked an end to the beef, developing a healthy relationship between the two.

Drake, who heard about the disrespectful rumors, texted, “When you said I was trash it hurt me cause you really my fav player.” Denying the rumors that heated up the situation, Kyrgios replied, “Haha I didn’t say you’re trash. I love your music my bro…hope you are good.” As the fans received the update on this conversation, they appreciated the positive gestures between the two celebrities, marking a new start to their healthy relationship.
