Over time, it has been clear that fashion plays a vital role in sports. What a tennis player wears during their match is also very important to them and their tennis fans. However, the recent attire for Rafael Nadal for this forthcoming tournament, has been dubbed “one of the worst clothes worn by the Spaniard” by his fans.

The Spaniard is all set to end his 2022 season with the Paris Masters and ATP tour finals in Turin, he will be seen on the tennis court after his withdrawal from the Laver Cup. Nevertheless, this year he won two grand slam titles, the Australian Open and the French Open, respectively. 

Tennis fans make fun of Rafael Nadal’s outfit

Nike has recently released the last outfit for the season for Rafael Nadal, their longtime clothing sponsor. The Spaniard will be wearing a green t-shirt having the same block print pattern he sported earlier. However, this one has different sleeves, the sleeves will be all black.

The left upper side of the shirt will have the Nike emblem as usual and on the right, it has the Raging Bull insignia. With that, the 22-time Grand Slam champion will be seen pairing the t-shirt with white shorts. Nevertheless, fans have noticed that the new outfit looks similar to the kind he wore when he played the French open and the Melbourne Summer Set earlier this year. Here is how the Spaniard fans reacted to the mismatched outfit.

Some of the fans have bashed the outfit calling it the “worst outfit” and stated it “ugly.”

However, a few Federer fans caught the new outfit and gave their reaction. A fan wrote, “Federer left a reason Nike not only underpays, they also don’t put in a lot of work in.” and the other wrote, “Nike only knew how to make kits for roger that man could pull those kits so well..”

Although, Some Nadal fans took over and admired their tennis star.

Will Rafael Nadal end his year on a good note? 

The 22-time Grand Slam champion will look to end his year on a high note and might run to become the world number one before the season concludes. The Spaniard is only left with two tournaments left for the year.

However, to achieve the world number one ranking, the tennis star has to make sure to display his career-best skills. Notably, till now Nadal has never claimed victory in any of these tournaments.
