Rafael Nadal has been out of action since the Australian Open. The King of Clay had to withdraw from three ATP Masters since he is still in the recovery process. His fans anticipated his return and were unfortunately saddened by his absence in each of these tournaments. The clay season is something that Nadal is looking forward to coming back to. But after withdrawal from the Monte Carlo masters, his participation in the Madrid Open looks a little iffy. Although the French Open is still in sight, there is no confirmation regarding Nadal’s participation in the prestigious clay court tournament. However, Nike, Nadal’s sponsor, revealed his look for Roland Garros and fans are a little divided.

Fans are divided over the new outfit of Rafael Nadal

With the hopes of the French Open still alive, fans are eagerly anticipating any news from the 22-time grand slam winner. To add on to the flames of hope, Nike revealed the official outfit of Rafael Nadal for the Roland Garros. The jersey is light blue in color with the white tick mark sign of Nike as opposed to Rafa’s usual purple or orange.

Marcos Zugasti, journalist, shared the design on his official Twitter page with the caption Today, in random clothes: Nadal will look for the 15th 🏆  at Roland Garros in light blue and white—boy (?) 👀“.

The news could’ve diverted the focus of fans to the fact that Nadal might play again. But the reactions were focused on the design and color of the jersey. Some loved it, and some hated it.
