With great success comes even greater responsibilities, and no one knows that better than Roger Federer. The Swiss Maestro, who’s been the epitome of excellence on the tennis courts for decades, is constantly juggling roles—whether it’s as a tennis icon, brand ambassador, or philanthropist. Yet, amidst his busy schedule, Federer never fails to prioritize one thing above all: his family. While he’s conquered every corner of the tennis world, what truly makes Federer stand out is his commitment to being a family man.
The 43-year-old engaged in an interview with Bloomberg Television on September 19 during the ongoing Laver Cup in Berlin, which was founded by the legendary player himself in 2017. Federer reflected upon the tournament and his life in general. He also highlighted how his life is unfolding.
When quizzed about how he is spending his time amidst several roles as the co-creator and shareholder of his brand ON and the co-founder of the Laver Cup, Federer had a heartwarming response. Speaking in the interview, he said, “No day is ever the same. I have four children as well so that takes uh probably the biggest bulk of my time, is making sure I’m a good dad, good husband you know.” Continuing further, Federer revealed that he spends a lot of his time with his four children and wife Mirka at his home in Switzerland. However, this does not let the Swiss Maestro impact his professional roles.

“ON takes a lot of my time making sure we look into the future and see how we can grow the brand and it’s been like an incredible partnership for me as well,” Federer added. He also shared that with the Laver Cup unfolding, he has been experiencing a high-intensity week. Interestingly, Federer’s response about his family resonates with what he said after hanging up his racquets back in 2022.
Speaking at Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show in 2022, Federer shared, “I’m anyway still very busy. I mean, I have four children, and they mean everything to me. So that needs to be my priority with my wonderful wife, Mirka. She’s been with me every step of the way.” As the tennis legend spends a great amount of his time with his family, he also ensures to impart some great education and advice to his children.
