‘Nobody Cares Mate’ – Andy Murray Snubs a Complaint From British No. 4 Liam Broady

Andy Murray is known not to mince his words. The former World No. 1 is enjoying a great comeback after undergoing two surgeries. And has also been quite active on Twitter. But the Brit has always been extremely clear about speaking his mind, and that is the persona that his Twitter profile gives off as well.

Recently, he turned heads again by leaving a caustic on a fellow player’s tweet.

Andy Murray shuts down a complaining Broady

28-year-old British No. 4 Liam Broady recently posted a tweet complaining about the management at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.

As it turns out, they lost Broady’s bag, while he was traveling to Lisbon, Portugal. “Possibly the worst airport in the world for lost bags,” he said in the tweet. Many people opened up about their troubles with losing their luggage, but it was Murray’s retweet that grabbed everyone’s attention!

To this, Sir Andy, replied, “Nobody cares mate” in all his straightforward glory.

Murray reverses his decision about his schedule

Murray had initially announced that he will not be playing the clay season in 2022, and will directly start with the grass swing. But he recently revealed that he would play the clay season after all. In what must have been great news for all his countless fans the former World No. 1 said that he had received a wildcard entry for the Madrid Open.

While he had previously said that clay is the worst surface for his hips, as it results in the most wear and tears on his body. Coming back from a career-saving hip injury, Murray is still trying to recreate his form and success, but it seems important that he listens to his body and team too. His team now includes Ivan Lendl, with who the Brit reunited recently.

After the Madrid Open, he might be taking part in the Italian Open as well, while his French Open plans are still uncertain. Interestingly, Rafael Nadal, who has been out of the circuit since the Indian Wells Masters, is also eyeing the Madrid Open for a return.
