Jelena recently auctioned his tennis star husband’s jerseys for 11,000 euros at a charity event. The proceedings will be utilized to build kindergarten schools in Kosovo. Taking note of this, many from the tennis realm lauded the renowned couple who works for the betterment of society. The Indian ATP star, Somdev Devvarman also showered praise on the 35-year-old player and his wife.

He said that Djokovic has always been there for various charitable works around the globe. The renowned Foundation, ‘Together for Kids’ also came across Devvarman’s remarks about the Serbian. They further took to their Instagram story to hail the Australian Open champion in their caption, “Nole’s always there”.

While they also mentioned Jelena as she was the one who attended the charity auction event in the capital city of Austria, Vienna. After getting praised by them, she also shared the same on her Instagram story.

Prior to this, Djokovic played a practice match before the Australian Open and the proceedings from the sale of tickets were used for charity. It is quite clear to say that the ‘Djoker’ has been quite active when it comes to ardently following such generous initiatives for society.
