Riddle was recently featured on the cover of the New York Times as ‘The Most Famous Women in Men’s Tennis’. This talks about her influence in the tennis realm. However, she recently confessed that a similar scenario might not be budding home.

In her interview with Tatler, she defined her experience of featuring on the cover of the New York Times as “surreal.” However, on the other hand, she also confessed that her family is not into tennis.

She stated, “None of my family knows anything about tennis.” She confessed that her family is more into hockey. She further expressed, “I think my dad still has no idea what’s going on.”

However, that has not led them to believe in their daughter and support her endeavors. She stated, “I came from a very humble, middle-class background and they believe in me so much.” Riddle has surpassed their beliefs, and she is proud of it. She stated, “They’re like “anything is possible” but I don’t think they were expecting me to be, like… on the cover of The New York Times.”
