Novak Djokovic opened up about seeing Marian Vajda, his former long-term coach in the opposing box. He stated, “Molcan for me is an opponent just like any other, but I’ve never had Marian in the opposing box. To be honest, I am not looking forward to it.” Alex Molcan will meet top-seeded player, Novak Djokovic in the second round of the French Open. This will happen only if Alex Molcan wins his opening match.
Marian Vajda was Novak Djokovic’s coach for 15 long years. They had initially parted ways in 2017 before uniting in 2018 again. However, they ended their partnership once again in December 2021, which was made public in March 2022. He is currently a head coach of the Slovakian tennis player Alex Molcan. The Serbian player elaborated his apprehension. He stated, “I’ve written to Marian a few days ago. We have seen each other here as well. When I looked at the draw, it wasn’t easy, I must admit.”
