Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are hugely admired worldwide. Even outside the tennis fraternity, athletes from different sports look up to them as a great source of inspiration. This time it’s PSG’s forward Kylian Mbappé, who talked about the domination of Nadal and Federer over the years.

Mbappé emphasized how Federer and Nadal were able to stay at the top level for so long. The Frenchman himself has started to grow as one of the finest upcoming footballers in recent years.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have dominated the ATP tour for several years. Over the years, they have justifiably won a slew of titles. Both are now tied for the most Grand Slam titles, with Novak Djokovic owning the record with 20 Major Slams.

In a recent interview, French professional player Kylian Mbappé discussed Roger and Rafa’s consistency. ” I admire these sorts of sportspeople who have been at the top for many years. Having that consistency is not something everyone can manage,” he quoted.

In the past, the PSG player had the opportunity to meet them at Roland Garros. From Mbappé’s wise words, we can rightfully assume that Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are two of the greatest athletes across all sports. Even today, the duo is giving their 100% to perform at the highest level.

Federer’s comeback is still a mystery

The 20-time Grand Slam champion, Roger Federer last competed professionally at the Wimbledon 2021. Despite having a good run, the Swiss ace got knocked out from the competition in the quarter-finals by Hubert Hurkacz with a huge margin. Since then, Federer is struggling with his knee and hasn’t been able to make a comeback.
