Stefanos Tsitsipas reveals how some crucial aspects were missing in the Netflix tennis show

The currently ranked world No. 5 player has recently made headlines for his incredible victory in the ATP Tour 250 event, the Los Cabos Open. In the championship match of the hard-court tournament, Stefanos Tsitsipas thumped the fifth-seeded Australian, Alex de Minaur in straight sets (6-3, 6-4). However, in addition to his brilliant triumph, the Greek tennis player also garnered attention owing to his post-match press conference.

During the conversation, the former world No. 3 was asked about his appearance in the second part of Netflix’s documentary tennis series. Apart from this, the young tennis star also brought to light some of his “celebratory moments” which were not depicted in the Netflix series.

Tsitsipas on how the tennis documentary missed out on a ‘good’ coverage

In his post-match press conference, the Greek player revealed how his incredible victory at the Monte Carlo Open was not portrayed in the Netflix show. He said, “They had a good coverage on that but they never showed it on the episodes which for me was the best part of the whole Netflix show.”

He also brought to light another ‘nice’ moment, his annual photoshoots in the Porte Romano Tennis Club, which was also not covered in the documentary. Apart from this, Tsitsipas asserted that there was also his “deep kind” physio talk at the Australian Open which was not completely depicted in the show. He said, “A very deep kind of talk which I haven’t really exposed really anywhere. And they only used 20 seconds of it in the episode.”
