Team World defeated Team Europe and Federer’s dream could not be fulfilled. Federer shared a picture of himself hugging his teammate and arch-rival, Novak Djokovic. Furthermore, he expressed his disappointment over not winning the cup.

Dream ending of Roger Federer at the Laver Cup remains unfulfilled

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal became the dream team of doubles at the Laver Cup this year. Playing his final match alongside Rafael Nadal was Federer’s dream. However, they could not defeat the astounding gameplay of Frances Tiafoe, and Jack Sock, who eventually won the doubles match. Roger Federer wanted to win the Laver Cup as a team which, unfortunately, did not happen.
