Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic recently opened up about his pre-grand slam routines. Highlighting the unique habits that play a part in his success, Nole introduced a layer of superstition to his secret to success. Revealing one of his favorite spots in Australia, the tennis star named a nearby botanical garden, a lush park where he spent time every time he visited for the past 15 years.

He mentioned, “It’s a wonderful park where I like to spend time and just be by myself in nature, just grounding, hugging trees, climbing trees and stuff. I love to do that.” This practice, although just a regular habit, seemed to be a part of his winning formula from how he expressed it.

“I like to isolate a bit more,” Nole revealed. “In a place like New York, for example, I stay in New Jersey. I stay with my friend where I’m in complete nature, isolation. It just allows me to relax and recharge.” As the Serb talked about this unique perspective, he explained the value of it because performing at Grand Slams requires a different type of energy compared to regular events.
