Novak Djokovic’s stance on telepathy

According to his previous revelations in 2018, the ATP legend has long been a firm believer in telepathy. Moreover, Novak Djokovic is an advocate of mind-over-body therapy since he believes in the power of the mind that can even cleanse polluted water.

The Serbian tennis star once also got himself a coach to seek out more about telepathy, which he regards as a gift from the almighty or the “higher order”. Djokovic previously said, “I feel like [these] are the gifts from this higher order, the source, the god, whatever, that allows us to understand the higher power and higher order in ourselves”.

The 36-year-old went on to say that he knows of certain people who used the power of gratitude and prayer to transform “polluted water” into the purest form of water that has healing powers. He added, “Because water reacts … molecules in the water react to our emotions, to what is being said.”

Novak Djokovic’s controversial incident with the magic potion

As he holds some of the most bizarre and controversial views, the Serb previously garnered a lot of attention at the 2022 Paris Masters. During his encounter with Stefanos Tsitsipas, the public saw the 36-year-old player’s support team mixing something in a water bottle with the utmost care.

Goran Ivanisevic, the Serb’s coach, made every effort to obstruct the view since he thought their actions were drawing attention from everyone. They continued cooking something up, as the bottle was later passed to the 24-time singles Grand Slam champion during the changeover of his semifinal match.

The Serb refused to address the matter further, stating that the public would soon learn of it.

After attracting a lot of controversies for his ‘magic potion,’ Djokovic was once again asked about the same after his championship victory in London. While suggesting it is a business secret, the current world No. 1 labeled it as a “supplement” that might also come out in the markets.  He said, “You’ll try it and you’ll let me know how it feels. You might win Wimbledon.”

Djokovic’s ‘magic potion’ quickly became a talking point for many who deemed it something dodgy. And it was the Serb’s wife, Jelena, who later came to his defense as she weighed in on the controversial matter on social media. She said, “Sit a bit in silence. Mind yourself more. Not everything you see is controversial. It could be private. Is that allowed?”
