Despite their rivalry on-court, they certainly share a comaraderie off the court. On many occasions, we have seen them support and congratulate each other. Recently, Novak Djokovic was asked in an interview to compare the ‘Big Three’ with different musical instruments. The Serb’s response was perfect in every way.

The ‘Big Three’ as musical instruments

Along with incredible ability, Novak Djokovic is also known for his witty responses and sense of humor. In a funny question, he was asked to compare ‘The Big 3’ with different musical instruments. The world number 1 said that Roger Federer is like a violin, while Nadal is like an electric guitar or drums and finally compared himself to a saxophone.

He said, “Roger Federer is a violin. I don’t think anyone has anything to say about it. As for Rafael Nadal, I would associate it with an electric guitar or drums. I am a saxophone because it is an instrument that goes well with any type of music.”

Djokovic did well to reach the quarterfinals of the French Open 2022, where he lost to the eventual champion, Rafael Nadal.
