Daniil Medvedev deftly guided the Russian Team to lift the Davis Cup 2021 for the country. Throughout the competition, Andrey Rublev and Medvedev dominated against every team. As the Russian Tennis Federation raised the cup, tennis players like Novak Djokovic and Billie Jean King sent their hearty congratulations.

Medvedev and Rublev sealed the victories for Team Russia in their final encounter against Team Croatia. Notably, after 15 long years, Russia captured the Davis Cup trophy, their third trophy overall.

Unfortunately, Djokovic’s Team Serbia lost in the semi-finals of the competition against Croatia. Despite putting in a lot of effort, Serbia struggled to beat Marin Cilic’s Croatia. Novak Djokovic was absolutely gutted following the loss.
