Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic yet again ended a tennis season as world number 1. And of course, his total earnings also exceeded all other ATP players. However, apart from missing out on certain achievements, it turns out that Djokovic had to say goodbye to a huge amount of money as well. In the recent turn of events, Djokovic ended up losing the $4 million bonus that he should have gotten for playing in the tournaments of 2023.

Almost all other players got their bonus, but due to an unfortunate incident, Djokovic ended up losing them. It’s really strange that even after being the best, he is the one who doesn’t receive his much-deserved bonus.

After some delay, the bonus pool was finally released by the ATP website. The final prize standings of all ATP players came out, including the ones who were able to bag the pool bonus. Surprisingly most of them won a great amount along with their total prize earnings. However, Novak Djokovic’s column of bonus amounted to 0.

Djokovic’s bonus was reduced by 100% as he missed out on 3 Masters 1000 tournaments. The cut-off to win the bonus was 381 points but since Djokovic did not make it because of missing the tournaments, he could not claim it.
