Marking his third-time victory in the Monte Carlo Masters, Greek ATP star Stefanos Tsitsipas has impressed the world number-one ATP player. Despite exiting the tournament for losing against Casper Rudd, the Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic couldn’t help but share a congratulatory expression over social media for Tsitsipas. His humble gesture of cheering up for the 25-year-old player has shown fans why he is a legend.
After bagging the Monte Carlo Masters trophy, Tsitsipas dropped a set of pictures from the match with a caption that said- “FINALly“. Along with the caption, fans spotted sweaty, heart, and muscle emojis which perfectly reveal his feelings after the epic victory. Tsitsipas’s Instagram post was shared by none other than Novak Djokovic on his official Instagram profile’s story with a clapping emoji. Djokovic’s expression presented that he very much liked Tsitsipas’s consecutive wins at the Monte Carlo Masters tournament.

Djokovic also shared another picture on his Instagram story celebrating the Greek ATP star’s victory. In this photo, Stefanos Tsitsipas posed with Formula One driver Charles Leclerc, in front of his Monte Carlo trophy.
The Serbian tennis legend couldn’t do well in Monaco. However, he was not much bothered by the loss. Djokovic said after losing to Rudd- “I only played three tournaments this year, so of course it’s normal to expect that you have some seasons where you don’t start well, and this is the one.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas opened up about achieving the “nerve-wracking” win in the Monte-Carlo Masters
This Greek tennis prodigy defeated Casper Rudd by 6-1 and 6-4 to win this Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters tournament. In this match of one hour and thirty-seven minutes, Tsitsipas played dominantly and finally broke down after winning the match. Then he stood up and stepped forward to embrace his opponent, Casper Rudd.

Tsitsipas said about his feelings– “It has been very difficult, so to be back on the podiums, winning tournaments just feels amazing, I can’t thank my family enough and friends, and if there is God out there, for making this moment possible. I am extremely grateful for every person behind this journey. The third time is even more special than the first or second time. This is an unbelievable win for me. Capturing that win today was nerve-wracking. I really wanted this trinity. I am extremely happy today.”
