US Presidential candidate moved by the principles of Novak Djokovic

Ramaswamy had earlier called out that it was a shame not to let Djokovic participate in the US Open in 2022. The 36-year-old Serbian couldn’t participate in the major event that year due to his refusal to get vaccinated during the global pandemic. So, when Ramaswamy was asked to pick one among the ‘Big Three’ here’s what he said.

“Recently Novak has taken over for me (from Nadal) because he embodies a different virtue of courage. The fact that he gave up slams for his principled decision too not take the vaccine. I respect that decision, I respect his courage and conviction. He embodies excellence,” said Vivek Ramaswamy.
