Another fan highlighted how these 5 years were quite different throughout his entire tennis career. He wrote, “12 slams in the span of 12 years, including his prime in the era of prime Fedal, Murray, Wawrinka. 12 slams in the span of 5 years in the era of crippled Fedal, and plumbers. Vulturovic racking up meaningless numbers by the dozens.”

Along with that, a fan brought in the goat discussion. He wrote, “I am over the tennis ATP obsession with the freaking GOAT debate. By skill its Federer and by achievement its Nadal. Djokovic’s only supremacy is numeric and every tennis fan knows it! #$*@!”
That's because Nadal and Federer were winding down and he had no credible opponents. I am over the tennis ATP obsession with the freaking GOAT debate. By skill its Federer and by achievement its Nadal. Djokovic's only supremacy is numeric and every tennis fan knows it! #$*@! https://t.co/hc5rNPlxlb

Nevertheless, a true Fedal fan talked about how he was not able to win major titles during the peak of his rivals. He said, “Weak era vulture. Only started winning slams consistently when Federer and Nadal were plagued by injuries. He won one slam during the peak fedal era in the 2000s.”

When Djokovic opened up about his equation with Federer
A few months ago, in an exclusive interview with Corriere Della Sera, the 2023 French Open champion set the record straight: they have never been best friends. Djokovic highlighted how, between rivals, friendship is not that possible. But on the other hand, he also made it clear that they have never been enemies.
Subsequently, he also talked about how he has always held respect for the 20-time Grand Slam champion. All in all, he pointed out how, for him, he is always one of the greatest tennis players of all time. While he was never close to the Swiss tennis legend, he has always appreciated Federer’s extraordinary impact.
