In a recent revelation, Craig Tiley expressed his support for the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), headed by Novak Djokovic. In the interview, he talked about many things that currently prevail in the tennis world and how PTPA helps the players who are currently ranked lower.

Tiley acknowledges the existence of player councils within the ATP and WTA. He believes that if players feel their representation is lacking, they may seek alternatives, such as the PTPA. From his perspective, having a strong player voice is healthy for the sport, whether it’s through established organizations or the PTPA.

“I’m all for player representation. I have said it from day one. I think the ATP and WTA have player councils that represent the players. This is the voice of the players. Whether it be the ATP, WTA, or PTPA that have that strong player voice will ultimately be up to them,” said Tiley while talking about the PTPA.

“I’m not as big of a critique of the PTPA as maybe others are, because I do see an avenue, see an opportunity, and anyone that’s standing up for the rights of the players, it’s a good thing,” he further added.

While there are critics who have been against the organization, Craig Tiley has always offered his support while suggesting that he has always been supportive when it comes to the organization. Thus, Craig Tiley, offered his deep insights about the ongoing tennis scenario while reflecting that the PTPA is an equally essential organization in the game. However, Tiley was not alone in discussing this topic.
