This fan came in and made a bold statement suggesting that he would stop watching tennis should Zverev win. “If y’all let Zverev win a slam I will stop watching men’s tennis,” said the fan.

Another fan came in and asked about Zverev’s accomplishments last year to be considered a favorite in Australia. “Genuine question: what exactly has z*erev done to be considered a favorite in Melbourne?” asked the fan.

Next, this fan said that this is not 2020 so even the clay merchant could come in and defeat the German on a hard court. “Even the clay merchant will beat Zverev in a serious match. This isn’t 2020 please,” said the fan.

Last, but not the least, this fan asked if the statements made by the former player were a joke. “This is a joke right?” asked the fan.

Thus, Coco Vandeweghe had to go through a lot of backlash from the fans who came in and suggested that Alexander Zverev was not at all a real title threat at the Australian Open.

It turned me into a ?Fedal? fan and eventually, when I graduated from college, this fandom created an interest in covering their exploits on the court.
