In fact, Djokovic’s mesmerizing skills made the 22-year-old Jiri Lehecka a fan of the world’s number-one player. Why wouldn’t that be? This year Djokovic received compliments from his opponent Rune during the Nitto ATP 2023 Tournament as well.

However, Lehecka’s compliments not only praised Djokovic but showed the challenges the Serbian had to endure to attain this success. Following his comments, fans understood how the world’s number-one player still thrives as the king of tennis at the age of thirty-six.

Lehecka applauds Djokovic’s success despite challenges prevalent in tennis

In a recent interview with Punto de Break, Lehecka’s comments showed his deepest admiration for the Serbian tennis star. Lehecka said- “Novak Djokovic is the best. He has proven again that his 36 is the new 26. He teaches us that, if you do things right, you can be the best player in the world, even at his age. His results are extraordinary, incredible. He is a great hero for me in almost everything he does, also for the rest of the tennis players, we can have him as an example, we can learn from him.” 

Lehecka’s compliments surely surprised fans in a good way but he also talked about the grueling challenges of tennis as well while referring to Djokovic’s unbelievable skills. The 22-year-old mentioned the continuous pressure players go through to remain in the top positions and to ensure every tennis in their career remains successful.
