While the Serbian legend is currently away from the court, he was present at the soft launch of Djokovic Wine. Recently, Djokovic’s uncle Goran spoke about his nephew’s involvement in the business.

Is Novak Djokovic promoting wine?

The wine brand is a brainchild of the Djokovic brothers (Novak’s father and uncle Goran) who acquired a small family vineyard six years ago. Now that the brand is launched, Novak Djokovic also played his part in promoting the family business. Speaking about his nephew’s involvement, Goran said, “Novak came to the soft launch of Djokovic wine as a family member.” Goran further added, “He was very pleased with everything. Novak always wants to promote Serbia.” However, as an athlete, Novak “does not promote alcohol,” but, as per Goran, “wine is different. It’s not hard liquor.”
