

World No. 29 Carlos Alcaraz has finally achieved an accomplishment he must have been looking forward to. The 18-year-old Spaniard got his driver’s license today and is excited about the same.
Alcaraz had a decent run at the Australian Open, reaching the third round of the Grand Slam. In fact, for his age, it is quite an accomplishment.
Furthermore, he also gave Italian World No. 6 a run for his money, taking their bout to five sets. Now, as he gets off the court, he is ready to take to the roads.

Carlos Alcaraz is ready to take to the roads
Spanish star Carlos Alcaraz Garfia turned 18 years of age last May in 2021. Additionally, he also won his first ATP title last year as well, in Umag.
Surprisingly, all of these achievements, including cracking into the top 30 rankings of the ATP, came before Alcaraz got his driver’s license!

However, he has now added his driving permit to his list of achievements and took to Instagram to celebrate the same. Posing for a photo where he takes the learner’s sign off of his car, Alcaraz was excited to share the news with fans.

“Objective accomplished, I am already one more on the road,” he wrote in the caption, celebrating his driver’s license.
Clearly, Alcaraz is hyped to be holding a steering wheel and commandeering a vehicle.
Fellow ATP players react to Alcaraz’s achievement
Seemingly, it is not just Carlos Alcaraz himself who is excited to be a full-fledged driver. Former World No. 2 Alex Corretja and compatriot to Alcaraz congratulated Alcaraz.

“You almost won a Grand Slam before having a car license. Now you can (win) the first,” Corretja commented on Alcaraz’s post, wishing him good luck for a Grand Slam victory soon.

World No. 33 Alex de Minaur, too, lauded Carlos Alcaraz for his license. “Grandeeeeee,” Minaur commented.

Clearly, the tennis fraternity is excited about young Alcaraz finally getting his driving license. On the other hand, fans are excited at the prospect of the young talent holding up his first major trophy soon.
