While braving his recent initial round defeats, the ATP player suggested how he aims to repeat the previous season’s heroics, according to his recent social media post.

Frances Tiafoe looks all geared up for his US Open campaign

The ATP player recently faced consecutive initial-round defeats at both the Cincinnati Masters and Canadian Open. However, despite his poor form during the hard court season, Frances Tiafoe looks all motivated for his home Grand Slam event in New York.

While candidly opening up about his obsession with the game, the American recently delivered an inspirational speech on Instagram. In a video clip, Tiafoe was heard saying, “Anybody can do it, honestly. Obviously, that’s a cliche but I think you’re really passionate about something, everybody’s got a gift. And if you’re truly truly passionate about something, I think anything can happen.”

The ATP player’s love and passion for the game is quite reflected in his commanding performances that are often been on display on the court. It has now further been brought to light on social media as he openly spoke about his obsession with tennis.

The American added, “And being just obsessed with it. Right now, I’m just really obsessed with tennis and I want to see how far I can go with this thing. “

Given his recent post, Tiafoe certainly looks motivated and geared up for the US Open, where he will square off against the youngest player in the event.

Entering the tournament as the 10th seed, Tiafoe will lock horns with a 17-year-old player in the men’s circuit. The player in question is none other than the American tennis prodigy, Learner Tien, who made his US Open debut at the mere age of 16, in the previous season. The currently ranked world No. 10 will face the youngest player in the event in the first round of their home hardcourt Grand Slam in New York.
