Williams set her name in stone when she broke Steffi Graf’s record of 22 grand slam titles in the 2017 US Open. She became the leading Grand Slam title holder in the WTA after almost two decades. She defeated her sister Venus Williams in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-4. However, that wasn’t the only reason that night was special for her.

While she was going through the tournament, Williams was twenty weeks pregnant with her daughter, Olympia Ohanian. She won her 23rd and final grand slam at 35 while she was five months pregnant. This feat led everyone to declare her the GOAT of tennis on social media. However, she has been criticized by many for her domineering and confident style of play, which could be mistaken for arrogance by many fans over the years.
