According to the Guardian, the Swiss Maestro shared, “It was a shock when I heard the news,..” In the years since Agassi’s confession, organizations like the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has taken steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. The sport has implemented stricter drug testing protocols, with more frequent and random tests being conducted. Federer also added, “I am disappointed. And I hope there are no more such cases in the future… our sport must stay clean.”
