Roger Federer decided to skip the Tokyo Olympic Games after his poor exit from the Wimbledon Championships. As a precautionary measure, Federer chose to skip the tournaments leading up to the US Open. Well, it’s (Federer’s new knee surgery) a pity for everybody. We love watching him play. Hopefully we can still see him back on tour, because I think that’s what he wants. That’s what everybody wants,” said Medvedev in his post match interview after his final.
