Andy Roddick shifts his focus from tennis to soccer for his daughter

The former American tennis star made a name for himself in the realm of tennis by winning the 2003 US Open. He won the hearts of all the Americans and now, after retiring, strives to win his daughter’s. For this, he is coaching the soccer team his daughter is a part of. In April, his wife, Brooklyn Decker, detailed the experience in an interview and said, “Our daughter is, wild as ever, she joined the soccer league. We’re like sports parents.”

Furthermore, she told about the arrangement in which her husband and tennis star, Andy Roddick, was involved. She said, “Andy is coaching her soccer team, so that’s a recent development. That’s been really fun.”

When the host asked if Roddick was a competitive coach, Decker said, “No, his goal is, all he says to all of us he’s like please don’t open up the snacks until after the game is over because once the snacks are out.”

Hilariously, she detailed the reasons behind it and said, “They are all four; they want to eat crackers; they don’t wanna play soccer.” Well, the new career seems to be working pretty well for the former Grand Slam champion.
