Novak Djokovic has reached his 10th semifinal at the Wimbledon Championships, after beating Marton Fucsovics on Wednesday. The number one seed has been nothing short of a champion since his first game. He has lived up to his World No. 1 ranking, as he aims at winning the tournament on Monday.

Djokovic will be playing against Denis Shapovalov of Canada in the semifinals, on Friday, July 9. The Serb will make it to his seventh Wimbledon final appearance and third successive one if he beats Denis.

Records that Novak Djokovic is chasing at the Wimbledon Championships 2021
Novak Djokovic has been having the year of his life, as he has already won the Australian Open and the French Open. He entered the tournament as the number one seed, with hardly any competition from his rivals and peers. He has played some phenomenal tennis this season, and his comebacks have been a statement of intent this tournament.
Djokovic will be on the verge of winning his third successive Wimbledon Championships title, having previously won it in 2018 and 2019. Along with this, he has the chance of winning the Calendar Grand Slam this year. He is already halfway through that challenge; however, he needs to win the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open as well.

The World No. 1 will be aiming for his 20th Grand Slam title, as he stands at 19 titles currently. He could equal the record of most Grand Slam titles won by men, as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are at 20. If he wins the finals at Wimbledon, it will be his sixth title, ranking him behind Roger Federer (8) and Pete Sampras (7).

Records broken by Djokovic at SW19 this year
Novak Djokovic has recorded 75 victories at the Wimbledon Championships, as he stands at a 77-10 win-loss record. He is the first player to record 75 wins across all four Grand Slam events, as a result of his third-round victory over Denis Kudla.

Novak Djokovic reached a record 42nd Grand Slam semifinal, taking him further away up the list. The Serb has 19 wins at Grand Slam events this year, as he remains unbeaten in 2021 at Slams.
