The veteran duo was spotted sipping some liquor while they candidly spoke about their drinking habits. Now, after a few years, the French tennis player has once again not held himself back from commenting on a similar ‘alcohol’ subject involving Wawrinka.

The 34-year-old recently lavished praise on his close friend’s alcohol tolerance while also revealing how he has always been a champion when it comes to competing in their drinking games.

Benoît Paire has recently made a bold assertion about his friend, saying that he had a greater tolerance for hard liquors. Speaking about the same, the French tennis star also revealed that Stan Wawrinka has “put him in the gutter” several times when it comes to competing in their drinking games.

His ‘alcohol tolerance’ remarks about his friend were brought to light by The Tennis Letter on Twitter. Paire said, “Stan is solid, he put me in the gutter several times… The next day, he is able to go five hours on the court, sweat & train…”
