Rafael Nadal Backs Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema to Win Ballon d’Or 2021

Former world no.1 and 20-time grand slam champion Rafael Nadal, who is currently in rehab after a foot injury forced him stay out of contention post Citi Open this year, extended his support for Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema.
Nadal, who is an ardent follower of football recently posted on twitter about Benzema’s commitment towards the sport and mentions him as his pick for the 2021 Ballon d’Or.

Nadal is most likely to make a comeback at 2022 Australian Open
Making a successful comeback once again won’t be easy for the 20-time major champion but there have been instances in the past where Nadal bounced back from injury and ended up having successful runs on the ATP tour.

Amidst the stiff competition from youngsters, it’s an uphill task for Nadal to stage an epic comeback at the Australian Open but one can expect the Spaniard to grow from strength to strength and be fully fit to win his beloved French Open.
