Rafael Nadal is being coached by Carlos Moya ahead of his comeback for the 2024 tournament season. However, right before his comeback, Moya shared how he feels a little less confident about Nadal being able to perform well on the court. With an intense reality check, Moya posted his thoughts about it on his official Twitter account as well.

Carlos Moya added, “Playing the best of five sets, win, rest, return to court two days later … That’s the doubt I have right now, especially for a Grand Slam. But we have time. If the Australian Open started tomorrow, it would be a real fear.”

According to Moya, there is still work left to do on building Nadal’s endurance so that he can keep up with matches and tournaments. Given that these tournaments have a very hectic schedule, Moya feels that Nadal may find it difficult to keep up with them. However, that is not all that Moya had to say about Nadal.

Carlos Moya, apart from the hard facts, also posted an appreciative post for Rafael Nadal, where he talked about how an injury-ridden Nadal won a grand slam before he stepped off from the game in 2022.
