The ‘King of the Clay’ recently tasted some defeats at the hands of a player who is currently outside the top 70 rankings, Richard Gasquet. Taking note of Nadal’s recent practice matches, a flurry of fans were quite surprised as they voiced their concerns on social media.

Prior to his comeback, the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion had been practicing with a player against whom he had an 18-0 head-to-head record. However, it was Richard Gasquet who recently had the upper hand against Rafael Nadal, as he won two of the three practice sets that they played.
The results of their practice sessions were recently brought to light by a tennis fan page, which tweeted, “Gasquet won 2 of the 3 practice sets that they played.” Reacting to the news, a plethora of fans were quite surprised as they flocked to the comments section of the post.
