In a post-match press conference, Novak Djokovic said, “I knew that probably, (I was) not going to be at 100 percent physically, emotionally, mentally game-wise in the opening week of a season. Neither did I expect that.” While nothing is sure for now, it’s a great surprise for tennis fans regarding whether Nadal or Djokovic will be seen participating in the first Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne or not.
