Although it was a record 14th title for the Spaniard, what makes it more special is the situation it came in. At an age of 36, playing with a pestering foot injury, he won against some of the finest tennis players. After a rigorous clay season, the 14-time French Open champion is finally off on a much-needed vacation.

Also, he updated that the 36-year-old will start his preparations in a couple of days as he feels better than Paris now. Notably, the Spaniard will chase his first Wimbledon title since 2010.
