Carlos Moya said – “Surface changes are not easy. While it is true that the clay should be better for the joints, to go from hard court to the clay, to go back to the United States, and then again to the clay, we thought it was a little excessive. Unlike his previous statements, however, Moya also dished out a warning to the ATP. He said, “Rafa reminded me of a bull that has been locked up for a year, you release it and it goes like a beast. He will be a candidate to win the tournaments he plays.”
Nadal’s potential has always been recognized by his coach. Recently, he expressed great hope for the Spaniard, in an interview, stating “He is ready to give his all, to go full steam ahead. Of course, he knows that he’s not at his best level right now, but little by little he will increase it. That’s also part of our work.”
