Apart from his Wimbledon Championships triumphs, the Swiss tennis legend also graced the grass courts of the ATP Halle while clinching 10 singles titles during his illustrious journey. The 20 singles Grand Slam champion has always been a regular participant in the event where he created a lot of great moments.

Notably, the ATP Tour 500 recently hailed the former tennis ace as they organized a special ceremony in order to mark his achievements in the tournament. The 41 -year-old tennis legend was in attendance as the guest of honor alongside his dad, Robert Federer. Here’s how the sporting community is reacting to the father-son duo’s appearance at the OWL Arena in Halle, Germany.

Roger Federer gets accompanied by his father as he attended a special ceremony in Halle

Being a 10-time champion, the former tennis ace received an invitation as a guest of honor from the ATP 500 event in Halle as the grass-court event celebrated its 30th anniversary. Roger Federer, who had tons of great memories at the OWL Arena, was once again there to address the crowd alongside his father. In order to make the occasion much more special, they marked it as ‘Roger Federer Day’, a celebration of achievements in the tournament.

The 20x Grand Slam champion later took to his Instagram account to share a carousel of pictures from the special ceremony. In one of those pictures, he was also spotted posing alongside his father on a road in Halle which is named ‘Roger-Federer-Allee.’ Federer also added the caption, “Father/son trip to Halle🤜🏼🤛🏼 Great to be back for the 30th anniversary of the tournament @atphalle_official 🕺🍀”

Taking note of his social media post, a lot of users stormed the comments section to drop their reaction to the father-son duo gracing the grass-court event in Halle.

Even the American alpine ski racer, Lindsey Vonn, was quite delighted as she commented, “Your Dad is the best!”

It received a quick response from the Swiss tennis legend who said, “@lindseyvonn the original”

The renowned Swiss tennis coach, Severin Lüthi also didn’t hold himself back to react to his countrymen’s pictures. He commented, “Robert! 🔥🔥”

His comment received a few responses from some tennis fans who asked about his whereabouts. The user said, “@severinluthi Hey Coach ! What’s keeping you busy these days?”

The 41 -year-old tennis star himself dropped a string of crown emojis as he said, “@severinluthi 👑👑”

Even the Spanish tennis legend, Rafael Nadal‘s sister, María Isabel Nadal, was among the users reacting to the Swiss Maestro’s pictures. She dropped a string of handclap emojis, “👏👏”

Other users reacted in a similar manner as they hailed Federer by commenting, “God save the King! RF” and “The one and only RF”
