Spanish tennis icon Rafael Nadal is ready to ace the hotelier industry once again as he embarks on a new journey with his Zel Hotels in partnership with Meliá Hotels International. The dynamic duo is all set to unveil their first location in Mexico, one of the world’s most beloved tourist destinations.

Nadal’s first hotel collaboration with Meliá, the Zel Mallorca, was introduced last year on the beautiful Spanish island. It celebrates the Mediterranean way of life, emphasizing both fun and relaxation. The same philosophy will be brought to Sayulita, Mexico.

Rafael Nadal’s Zel Hotels Expand to Central America

In Central America, In the beautiful town of Sayulita, Mexico, Rafael Nadal is building a new hotel branch of his hotel chain called Zel Hotel, first being in Mallorca, Nadal’s hometown. In addition, the hotel will consist of over a hundred rooms with a lively central terrace providing an atmosphere conducive to gatherings and exchanges like those which took place in old Greece.

“The patio has been a staple of Mediterranean culture since the ancient Greeks, serving as a space for socializing,” shared architect Alvaro Sans. “By enclosing the open space, the patio creates a stage that is controlled by the architecture, with olive trees and the sound of water that relaxes the senses, inviting the sensations of vacation.” he further added, as reported by Hola.com.
