Many pro tennis players extend their support and guidance to budding tennis players. In one such incident, Indian Wells champion, Taylor Fritz has shown a great gesture. He confronted the struggling tennis mother with an encouraging response.
The mother finds it difficult to encourage her kid during some low moments in a tennis match. She took it to Twitter and asked for some pro players to offer a piece of advice to her son.

Mother wrote, “The hardest sight for a tennis mum. My son gets so down on himself during matches. Do you have a second to give him some encouragement?” Tennis players and experienced writers were directly tagged in the tweet.
Taylor Fritz offered words of encouragement
The mother in need was unhappy to see her child giving up. She asked pro tennis stars like Taylor Fritz, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal to help her out. Fritz was the first one to reply as he gave some wise advice to the kid.
World No. 13 wrote, “My man don’t get worry about it, results don’t matter at this age… what matters is having fun, working hard and improving ur game if you want to be a pro one day, good luck keep working hard and enjoying it” followed by a big thumbs up.

It is certainly the right advice to any aspiring tennis player, as losing may affect a player’s confidence and champions do come out strong from that defeat. Taylor Fritz emphasized that hard work and practice will improve the game.
He also mentioned that it is important to enjoy the sport and consider winning and losing as secondary aspects at such a tender age. He encouraged the young boy to keep working hard and urged him to keep improving.

Fritz becomes the new Masters 1000 champion
In 2022, Taylor Fritz has shown great improvements in comparison to his earlier years on the tour. He had never reached the fourth round at any Majors prior to 2022. However, at the Australian Open at the beginning of this season, the young American reached the fourth round, losing in a five-set thriller against Stefanos Tsitsipas.

After achieving his personal best at a Major Down Under, Fritz played at the Dallas Open and at the Mexican Open in Acapulco. However, the highlight of his 2022 season was winning his maiden Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells. He snapped Rafael Nadal’s unbeaten run to bag the biggest title of his young career so far.

Currently, Fritz is playing at the Miami Open and will lock horns against his compatriot, Tommy Paul in his Round-of-32 clash in the Sunshine State.
