The 35-year-old tennis legend answered by revealing his sole objective of making his mark on the sport’s history. In order to reach those unprecedented heights, Djokovic had to outrank the former Swiss tennis player who was a resounding figure back then. The Serb just wanted Boris Becker to accompany him on his quest to become the best player on the men’s tour.
He said, “So I said, Yeah, of course. I want to write the history of the sport. And I want to do is with you, so you know, we clicked right away.” The former tennis ace also said that it was also his desire to see Djokovic lifting various trophies on the court.
